North Wiltshire Garden

Located within the vale of the River Avon, this is one our favourite smaller scale projects. Following an extension at the rear of the house, the previous garden no longer worked or made sense. What was needed was a complete re-think on structure and shape – with plenty of space for outside entertaining and pathways that created a journey amongst the plants. Our design incorporated our own design and specification of steel edging to bring order to the space and to retain herbaceous borders.

As the client was a keen gardener, we were able make this a ‘gardener’s garden’ through a comprehensive planting plan. We combined herbaceous perennials and grasses that are punctuated with strong, feature plants including a multi-stemmed crab apple and clipped hornbeams. We also installed LED lighting to create atmosphere and drama at night.
